Christian Prieler earns his daily bread as a grassland and arable farmer in Styria, Austria. More precisely in the village Gesäuse. And even more precisely in the municipality of Mooslandl with 390 inhabitants – part of the municipality of Landl in the district of Liezen.

“I’ve been looking for a mulde trailer for a long time,” he says. “I needed something practical for ensiling, for the grain harvest or for handling manure. So I started researching online.” Prieler came across Farmtech's Durus 1600 mulde trailer, which he also saw in live at Mauch's trade fair in Burgkirchen.

“So I went to Burgkirchen – which is not just around the corner – and got all the necessary information and detailed advice from Mario Ortbauer," adds the farmer. “On the one hand, it was important for me to have an appropriate load capacity, and on the other hand, to have folding sidewalls so that the box can be easily filled with a front loader and hoftrac.”

Durus met all these criteria and convinced me. And so the purchase came about. "It's very robust," confirms Prieler. “In addition, the Fuhrman sidewalls and a solid chassis. Exactly what I wanted. In the meantime I have loaded almost everything. And it works perfectly.”

He is particularly impressed by the hydraulic tailgate: “I don't even have to get off, I can do everything from the cab. This flexibility is like a dream. Incidentally, price-performance ratio too.”
