Farmtech dealer of the year 2020 is the company BKL from Croatia

For the first time ever, Farmtech presented the award to the best dealer of the Farmtech brand – the company BKL d.o.o from Croatia earned the prestigious title “Farmtech Dealer of the Year” for the year 2020.

The year 2020 was filled with challenges, both for Farmtech and for all dealers. The coronavirus pandemic and the associated restrictions and measures made it necessary to break the ice with new sales approaches. Despite the difficult circumstances, the network of Farmtech brand dealers did its job with distinction and met the expectations of the past year. “We are pleased to have competent, dedicated and reliable partners by our side with which we create a success story,” proudly says Miha Korošec, Sales Manager at Farmtech.

Farmtech Dealer of the Year is BKL!

Farmtech attaches utmost importance to supporting and encouraging dealers in their further development and success. It is for this reason that the statuette for the Dealer of the Year was awarded for the first time this year, which from now on will go into the hands of the most successful dealer every year. It is a prestigious award and the Farmtech dealer who has achieved the best performance and efficiency in business in the past year receives it. And this time the award or the statuette – a work by the excellent Slovenian artist Robert Jurak – went into the hands of the company BKL, which thus earned the honorary title of “Farmtech Dealer of the Year” for 2020. “We are proud of the results achieved by BKL, which embodies the values of the Farmtech brand to the greatest extent possible. Congratulations on the title you have been awarded and at the same time we wish you plenty of success in the future as well,” said Oton Bogdan, Area Sales Manager, at the award.

Who are BKL?

The family company BKL d.o.o. from Rovišće near Bjelovar in Croatia specializes in the import and export of new agricultural machinery and equipment – they are mainly focused on the segment of detachable machinery. The Laco brothers– Kristijan and Božo, who are the company’s managers, have turned their hobby into the business of their lives and remain faithful to the philosophy, ideals and values instilled in them by their father Mijo. Other members of the Laco family also make a strong contribution to the company’s success – Valentina and Katarina hold the bookkeeping firmly in their hands.
In its storage and service space measuring 26,000 m2 – of which are 6,000 m2 covered spaces – the company has always available stock or machines, which is definitely their great added value and competitive advantage. “Keeping stock has its price, but availability and customer care are key to a company,” says General Manager Kristijan Laco. “With our comprehensive supply and individual treatment, we strive for overall customer satisfaction day after day – this is our business model,” adds older brother Božo Laco, who holds the function Sales Director.

Good cooperation between BKL and Farmtech

In addition to selling agricultural machinery, they also offer service and provide spare parts. Their sales program includes the Farmtech brand and many other renowned manufacturers of agricultural machinery such as Gasparo, Maschio, Vaia, McHall, Agro-Masz and others. They have been cooperating intensively with Farmtech since 2015. “We are pleased that our cooperation is good and that we create a good user experience and results together. We are honoured that in such a short time, in a difficult year and in this competition, we managed to obtain this flattering title,” says Kristijan Laco upon receiving the award. “This is a confirmation that we are doing well, that we are successful and, above all, that we are here for the people,” he added. Božo Laco proudly adds: “Praise goes to our employees, who with their professional approach and work take care of customer satisfaction, and of course thank you to all loyal customers who trust us and appreciate our work and constantly return to us. This is the most important thing!” They will continue to strive to become even more flexible and responsive in all areas where they see potential.
