The new DPW 1800 three-axle flatbed trailer from Farmtech helps you work more efficiently and productively during harvest season. It makes work go easier, saves valuable time, and provides convenient handling.

Ready for many different jobs
The tough, practical 18 tonne DPW 1800 three-axle flatbed trailer is a safe, easy way to transport bulky goods. It was designed for round and square bales, but can also be used for all kinds of general haulage, especially in agriculture. The flat platform has the ideal dimensions for transporting Euro-palettes.

Maximum performance
What’s special about this three-axle flatbed is its low tare weight that helps reduce fuel consumption combined with tough galvanized construction that offers a 10 m long loading surface. If more capacity is needed the bed can be lengthened by up to 1.2 m using a pull-out extension. This means more load volume and higher payload. Front and rear 1.85 m high mesh panels with restraining chains protect the load from uncontrolled movement and damage. They can be folded up or dropped down.

Built tough
The rigid chassis can handle high point loads and provides maximum stability, and is made of galvanized steel for long-lasting protection against corrosion and mechanical damage. The low centre of gravity with a loading height of just 1.1 metres provide easy loading and unloading access from both sides. The sturdy non-slip ribbed bed keeps the load from sliding back and forth. Numerous lashing points are provided for securing the load.

Dependable quality
The tested ADR axles and parabolic two-leaf spring suspension assure robust mobility under all conditions with the highest possible comfort. A V towbar ensures pleasant travel and easy manoeuvrability. In addition to a parking brake, the DPW comes with either a two-line compressed air brake system or hydraulic brakes as standard. The brakes act on all six wheels for the shortest possible braking distance. Road approval to 40 km/h is possible under European standards if the necessary equipment is added, such as LSV controller or additional lighting. A mechanically extendible underride guard makes it easy to adapt the loading surface to the actual load, and also houses the LED lighting and license plate.
