Slurry Day Triesdorf '23

This year’s Slurry Day in Triesdorf, Germany, took place on 25 May at the local agricultural centre “Landwirtschaftliche Lehranstalten Triesdorf”. The eagerly awaited event once again attracted many visitors from all over Germany, eager to learn about the latest trends and innovations in slurry application.

The day was divided into a morning and afternoon programme with many interesting topics, practical demonstrations and exchanges of experience. The morning programme was dedicated to expert presentations covering topics such as efficient use of fertiliser, different aspects of crop production, modern methods of slurry application and legal requirements in this field. Participants had the opportunity to listen to experienced experts share their knowledge and research experience. Important aspects of sustainable agriculture and environmental protection were also discussed.

The afternoon was dedicated to practical presentations, with all the major manufacturers specialising in developing innovative solutions for slurry application. Among them was Farmtech, who proudly presented their Supercis 800 slurry tank and Eagle 9.0 distribution system with a working width of 9 metres. Both machines attracted a lot of interest and compliments from visitors. Other Farmtech slurry distribution equipment was also on display at a nearby showground. Farmtech sales staff were on hand to show visitors the technology, answer questions and provide expert advice on choosing the right machine for the job.
The event was a great success and provided an excellent opportunity to showcase innovation and network with professionals, young farmers and other key players in the agricultural sector. Attendees were able to share experiences, discover new trends and gain vital first-hand information.
