Three questions for Christian Herbach

Get to know our new Area Sales Manager for Germany, Christian Herbach, whom we asked three interesting questions – read what he had to say here.

Mr Herbach, you joined Farmtech on 1 October as Area Sales Manager for the German market. Can you tell us about your previous experience?

After working for many years as an agricultural machinery mechanic, during which time I acquired a wide range of technical knowledge, I then worked for several years in agricultural machinery sales. In my former company, which is also a Farmtech dealer, I had the opportunity to get to know the Farmtech product range in detail. As a passionate farmer, I understand the challenges of modern farming. Using Farmtech products on my own farm has given me a deep understanding of our customers’ needs. The opportunity to contribute my practical experience directly to product development has been particularly valuable.

What are your responsibilities as an Area Sales Manager?

As an Area Sales Manager at Farmtech, I see my role as very varied. On the one hand, my goal is to continuously expand and strengthen the dealer network. This includes acquiring new dealers, training existing partners and ensuring a consistent sales strategy. I also see it as my responsibility to provide our dealers with comprehensive support and assistance. I am their point of contact for all product-related issues, providing sales support and tailor-made training. I also constantly monitor the market to respond to changing customer needs and identify new business opportunities.

What are your specific goals for the coming years?

In the future, I want to help further establish the Farmtech brand as the preferred partner for farmers in Germany. I will strive to expand our market position, win new customers and dealers and continuously increase customer satisfaction. In doing so, I will draw on my many years of experience, my technical know-how and my passion for agriculture. I am convinced that Farmtech, with its innovative product range, quality and strong dealer network, can play an even more important role in the industry.
