For Uroš Bencak, the working day doesn’t end when he leaves Farmtech. Back home, another job is waiting on the family farm in Trnje near Črenšovci, Slovenia. As Product Manager for slurry technology, he helps develop new machines. On his own farm, he sees how they perform where it matters most – in everyday use.

A young farm with a clear vision

The Bencak family farm may not be one of the largest in the area, but size has never been the goal. What matters most are well-considered decisions, continuous development and a clear vision for the future.
The farm’s main focus is laying hens and egg production, complemented by arable farming and a strong commitment to self-sufficiency. Looking ahead, the family plans to expand into value-added egg products, especially pasta, creating new opportunities for future growth.
Everyone contributes to life on the farm. Even the youngest generation is already getting involved – Oliver and Sofija proudly help feed the hens and collect eggs, while Uroš’s parents remain an invaluable part of the family operation.

Choosing for his own farm

Most people know Farmtech as a manufacturer of agricultural machinery. Uroš knows it from a different perspective. Every day, he is involved in developing new machines and gathering feedback from customers, with a particular focus on slurry technology.
