New ISOBUS control for Farmtech slurry tankers

We present the ISOBUS control that Farmtech now offers for professional slurry tanks from 11,000 liters onwards – either in steel or polyester versions.

In order to be able to control a complex tank, only the three hydraulic connections and a connection to the ISOBUS connector are required. The steering axle remains outside on a separate hydraulic connection.

What is ISOBUS anyway?

ISOBUS is a standard protocol that enables the exchange of data and information between tractors and implements. Thanks to a universal control unit in the tractor cab, all functions are controlled, eliminating the need for multiple cable connections. Older tractors can be equipped with additional terminals to operate ISOBUS-capable machines, many new ones are already equipped with ISOBUS as standard.

The TOUCH800® terminal from Müller-Elektronik – which has been co-creating and developing ISOBUS from the very beginning – is equipped with an 8-inch color display. Thanks to the intuitive user interface, the machine operator quickly finds his way around. The terminal can be used universally and offers all the functions required to operate an ISOBUS implement. The terminal supports other precision farming functions and apps, which can also be activated if required. The data can be transferred using a USB stick. A camera can be connected for better machine monitoring.
