Supplier of the year 2022: Kovintrade

In a dynamic world of constant challenges and fierce competition, only the best stand out. This is also true for Kovintrade d.d. from Celje, which has been awarded the prestigious title of “Farmtech Supplier of the Year 2022”. As Peter Drucker once wrote: “Whenever you see a successful business, someone once made a courageous decision”.

At the “Farmtech Supplier of the year” event in December, Farmtech announced and honoured its most successful supplier for the first time. For 2022, this prestigious title went to Kovintrade d.d. from Celje, Slovenia, a specialist distributor of semi-finished metallurgical products. We were impressed by their long-standing commitment to quality materials, excellent service and innovative solutions, as well as their outstanding flexibility and delivery reliability. Kovintrade has also been selected as the Komptech Group’s Supplier of the Year 2022.

Partnership between Farmtech and Kovintrade

Their commitment to their customers goes beyond the pure business aspect, as they strive for long-term partnerships and maintain high standards in all phases of their business,” emphasised Farmtech’s Strategic Purchasing Manager, Janez Tomažič. “The 2022 winners were proactive, transparent and reliable in a challenging environment”, added Konrad Niderl, CEO of Farmtech. Accepting the award, Jože Kastelic, Chairman of the Board of Kovintrade, added that it was not just a symbolic recognition. “It reflects our commitment to excellence and is a confirmation of our ability to meet Farmtech’s high expectations and strengthen the partnership between the two companies.”

Farmtech works with more than 400 active suppliers worldwide, and it is materials such as sheet metal, pipes, beams and various types of steel that are among the key strategic materials that drive our production.
